High-modulus Carbon Bundles (HMCB)

High-modulus Carbon Bundles (HMCB) consists of two parallel cord wound on a single cartridge. Carbon harness is made on the basis of PAN- flagellum of nominal linear density with 800 and 1200 tex. BMY super high modulus carbon fibers with a modulus of at least 450GPa. High modulus carbon bundles are used as reinforcing elements of composite materials. High modulus provides the unique high stiffness of products operating in extremely high dynamic loads. Carbon fibers are successfully used in the composites used in the nuclear and the aerospace industries.
